The PEPPOL BIS app has functionality to send EHF outside of Norway, but the built in ELMA lookup function does not check against foreign regisitries at its current version.
The most relevant recipients outside of Norway at this time is Sweden (PEPPOL and NEA), Finland (TIEKE) and Denmark (PEPPOL).
If you have a customer that requests documents being sent via EHF you can manually set the document sending profile on the customer card to OSB_PEPPOL.
Pre-requisites:
Customer card needs to have the correct Country code
The country/region field have to be set correctly:
Norway: 0192
Sweden: 0007
Finland: 0037
Denmark: 0184
Tools to verify if a recipient can accept EHF files:

You can search by company name or VAT registration number
NEA Registry: eregister.nea.nu/nea/
